Changi Airport has no shortage of lounges, for both premium cabin passengers and lounge membership users.
For our flight from Singapore to Paris earlier this year on China Eastern Airlines, we departed from Changi Airport’s Terminal 3. We typically visit the SATs Premier Lounge for this terminal, but as it was undergoing renovations for the whole month of March, we decided to head over to the Marhaba Lounge instead.
Marhaba lounges around the world are operated by dnata, a global air service provider which itself is part of the Emirates group. You can find their lounges in many parts of the world, especially if you’re travelling through Dubai.
This is our full review of the Marhaba Lounge in Changi Airport’s Terminal 3.
General Information
The Marhaba Lounge is open 24 hours a day. However, there will only be beverages available between 02:00 am and 05:00 am.
How do I access the Marhaba Lounge?
Common Access Methods
---
Priority Pass, DragonPass, LoungeKey
Purchase lounge pass from Marhaba
The most common mode of access for the Marhaba Lounge is through lounge memberships like Priority Pass or Dragon Pass from credit cards.

Alternatively, you can also purchase access at US$35 (S$45.61) per entry. We generally do not recommend paying for lounge access as there are many cost-effective ways to access these lounges.

Where is the Marhaba Lounge?
The Marhaba Lounge is located on Level 4, right after security. After clearing security, turn right and head up a flight of escalators towards the food court. From there, you’ll see a sign for “Airport Lounge”.

Head towards the back of the food court and you’ll find the entrance to the Marhaba Lounge.

Experience in the Lounge
There are plenty of varied seatings within the lounge. When we visited the lounge at around 10:30 pm, the lounge was very crowded and there weren’t many available seats. Despite that, we were lucky to find seats at the far end of the lounge.

Due to the lack of staff, many tables had uncleared leftovers.
We can expect the lounge to enforce some crowd regulations during peak periods to preserve the experience in the lounge.

Food and Beverages
The lounge has a main buffet counter with a reasonable selection of food. During our night visit, there were international selections like pasta and beef stew. In addition, the lounge also served local delights like Char Kway Teow and Satays.
For guests looking for something healthier, there is also a salad and fruit bar.
In the drinks department, you can find a decent collection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You’ll not find any bubbles or sparkles, but there are some basic reds and whites available.

Amenities
There aren’t any amenities to speak of about the Marhaba Lounge.
Even though it was advertised as having a restroom and a shower lounge, we could not find any during our visit. We’ve had to exit the lounge and use the public bathrooms outside instead.
Final Thoughts
Marhaba Lounge Changi Airport Terminal 3
Summary
Marhaba Lounge at Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 is a basic airport lounge that does the job. Although you can’t expect any luxury here, you can grab a quick meal before your flight out of the city.
As a Priority Pass member, your options are very limited in this terminal. Your only alternatives are the SATS Lounge and the Ambassador Transit Lounge which often limits its guest acceptance during peak periods. Therefore, in many cases, the Marhaba Lounge might be the only option available to you.
