Qatar Airways has just launched a limited-time promotion, and it offers an uncapped 30% bonus Avios when you convert reward points from participating partners into your Privilege Club account.
Here’s everything you need to know, especially if you’re based in Singapore.
The Deal
From 1 June to 30 June 2026, Qatar Airways Privilege Club members will earn a flat 30% bonus Avios on every conversion of reward points from eligible participating partners. What’s more, there is no cap on the bonus you can earn! The more you transfer, the more bonus Avios you get.
The bonus applies per transaction, and it will be credited to your Privilege Club account by 31 July 2026.

What Singapore Readers Need to Know
For Singapore-based members, there are two participating partners you can transfer from:
1. Citibank (Citi Miles / ThankYou Rewards)
- Citi Miles convert to Qatar Avios at 1:1
- ThankYou Points convert at 5:2
- Minimum conversion: 10,000 Avios
2. HeyMax (Max Miles)
- Max Miles convert to Qatar Avios at 1:1
- Minimum conversion: 1,000 Avios
- Transfers in increments of just 1 Avios after the first block
Both are on Qatar Airways’ official participating partners page alongside partners from around the world.
Note: Qatar Airways fulfills the bonus, so you’ll see the standard transfer amount reflected in your partner portal. They will then credit the 30% bonus Avios separately by 31 July 2026.
Why Qatar Airways Avios?
Qatar Airways Avios belong to the broader Avios ecosystem, which also includes British Airways Executive Club, Finnair Plus, Iberia Plus, and Aer Lingus AerClub. Better still, you can transfer Avios freely at a 1:1 ratio between these programmes.
Furthermore, Avios do not expire as long as you earn or redeem at least 1 Avios every 36 months.
Best Redemptions for Singapore Travellers
Qatar Airways does not publish a fixed award chart for its own flights — pricing varies by route, date, and cabin class. However, you can check exact pricing using the My Calculator tool on qatarairways.com. That said, based on actual searches, here are the approximate off-peak rates from Singapore (one-way, on Qatar Airways via Doha):
| Destination | Economy | Business Class |
|---|---|---|
| Doha | ~25,000 Avios | ~50,000 Avios |
| Europe (London, Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich) | ~35,000 Avios | ~75,000 Avios |
| Greece / Eastern Europe (Athens, Bucharest) | ~32,500 Avios | ~70,000 Avios |
| USA (New York, Houston) | ~37,500 Avios | ~95,000 Avios |
Pricing shown is approximate off-peak Saver rates. Peak travel dates are priced higher. Always check qatarairways.com for exact pricing on your dates.
With the 30% bonus factored in, here’s what those business class redemptions effectively cost you in transferred credit card miles:
- Singapore ↔ Europe (Business Class): ~57,692 Avios (with 30% bonus)
- Singapore ↔ USA (Business Class via Doha): ~73,077 Avios (with 30% bonus)
- Singapore ↔ Doha (Business Class): ~38,462 Avios (with 30% bonus)
For comparison, a similar Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Saver redemption from Singapore to Europe in Business Class costs around 103,500 miles — so with this bonus, Qatar Privilege Club becomes a very compelling alternative.
You also get to experience the amazing QSuite business class product by redeeming your Qatar Avios for a flight between Singapore and Europe like we did!
Partner Airline Redemptions
Beyond Qatar Airways’ own flights, you can use Avios to book flights on partner airlines including:
- Cathay Pacific — Singapore ↔ Hong Kong from 11,000 Avios (Economy) or 22,000 Avios (Business) using the general partner award chart
- Japan Airlines — Singapore ↔ Japan from 24,000 Avios (Economy) via Finnair Plus transfer
- Finnair — Singapore ↔ Helsinki from 62,500 Avios (Business Class) via British Airways Club transfer
- British Airways — Short haul redemptions within Asia
Why We Love Qatar Privilege Club
We’ve personally used Qatar Airways Avios for some fantastic redemptions:
- Kuala Lumpur to Georgia – We booked this using Avios via Qatar Airways, and it was a great use of miles for a unique destination that’s hard to reach with other reward programmes.
- Jordan to Singapore on QSuites – One of the best Business Class products in the sky with door-closing privacy suites, excellent dining, and exceptional service.

On that Jordan→Singapore flight, we also experienced Qatar Airways’ Starlink-powered inflight internet. It’s genuinely fast enough for streaming, video calls, and browsing — a far cry from the usual painfully slow satellite wifi. For long-haul flights, this is a game changer.
- Barcelona to Bogota on Iberia – Book using British Airways Avios with off-peak pricing. This is a long flight across the Atlantic, but Iberia has a really comfortable seat and a modern in-flight entertainment system, which kept us occupied throughout the entire time.

Important Things to Note
- Transfers must be completed by 30 June 2026 to qualify. If you’re transferring from Citibank (which doesn’t do instant transfers), initiate early to account for processing time.
- The bonus is not retroactive. Only transactions completed within the campaign period qualify.
- Bonus Avios are credited per transaction, not cumulatively.
- Once credited, you cannot reverse the transaction.
- Registration is not required. Just transfer through your partner portal.
- Full terms and conditions are on the official campaign page.
Final Thoughts
All in all, this is one of the more generous Avios transfer bonuses we’ve seen from Qatar Airways this year — a flat 30%, uncapped, with two accessible transfer partners for Singapore readers. So if you’ve been sitting on a pile of Citi Miles or Max Miles and have a Qatar Airways redemption in mind, this is a strong reason to pull the trigger.
As always, check award availability on qatarairways.com before transferring, and only convert points you plan to use in the near future.
