The latest KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes promotion has just been released!
With the upcoming KrisFlyer devaluation that’s coming on 1st November, this will most definitely be the last spontaneous escape that happens before the devaluation.
You can redeem your flights at a discount against the previous redemption rates if you do so during this promotion. Therefore, this will be the best time for you to lock in any redemptions if you already have plans to travel next month..
What is the Spontaneous Escapes?
Spontaneous Escapes is a promotion by Singapore Airlines offering award redemption rates of 30% off the standard Saver award tickets to selected destinations. The flights must be taken the following month, making it truly spontaneous!
This is usually the best opportunity to make your hard-earned KrisFlyer miles go even further. You can often find amazing deals, assuming you can take off on a moment’s notice (or a month).
You have to book your flight by 31 October 2025, and fly between 1 November 2025 and 30 November 2025.
Good Deals for November 2025
These are some of our top picks for the month. We’ll generally try to go for longer business-class flights as compared to short economy-class flights when redeeming our miles to fully maximise their value. There are also some sweet-spot routes on the Singapore Airlines network where we can enjoy outsized returns for our miles.
For this edition of the Spontaneous Escapes, we are seeing a significant reduction in the number of business-class routes.
A lot of the common Business Class routes are notably absent from this promotion. Common routes to countries like China and India are no longer available on Business Class.
If you are looking to fly somewhere further, like Europe or the US, you might still have some luck with Premium Economy or Economy. However, those are also substantially fewer than previous editions of the promotion.
| Route | Class | Miles (one-way) |

| Singapore to Male | Business | 30,100 |
| Male to Singapore | Business | 30,100 |
| Singapore to Cairns | Business | 47,950 |
| Singapore to Johannesberg | Premium Economy | 30,100 |
| Johannesberg to Singapore | Premium Economy | 30,100 |
| Brussels to Singapore | Premium Economy | 49,700 |
| Singapore to Frankfurt | Premium Economy | 49,700 |
| Singapore to Milan | Premium Economy | 49,700 |
You can check out the full list of routes at KrisFlyer’s official page.
How to Book a Spontaneous Escapes Rate?
- You can only book the rate through Singapore Airlines’ Mobile App or official website.
- Log in to your KrisFlyer account and check the Redeem flights box when searching for your flight.
- Select the desired flight route, depart date and class of service.

4. If a route is available on Spontaneous Escapes, it will show up as a special Promo From… rate.

5. Select that and go through the standard booking process.
What Card to Use For Fees?
When redeeming award flights, you’ll usually have to pay a small fee for taxes and tariffs. Although these typically do not go for more than S$100 for Singapore Airlines, it’ll still be good if we can optimise our spending here.
Below are some of our favourite credit cards to use to pay for taxes and fees when redeeming award flights on Singapore Airlines.

- All fares booked through the Spontaneous Escapes Rate are strictly non-changeable and cancellable unless cancelled by Singapore Airlines themselves. You’ll have to forfeit your ticket should you not be able to fly on the booked flight.
- You can only book the rates through Singapore Airlines’ Mobile App or website.
- You’ll need to have the full amount of miles needed in your KrisFlyer account at the time of booking. You cannot book part of the tickets with cash and part of it with miles.
