This round offers a 15% reduction on Saver award redemptions for selected Singapore Airlines Economy Class routes and selected Premium Economy flights between Singapore and the USA. In a first for this sale, Scoot awards are also included with a 10% discount.
If you are comparing this to past iterations, this is objectively the weakest Global Redemption Sale to date. We previously saw 20% discounts in March 2026, and 25% back in 2024. Business and First Class redemptions remain entirely excluded.
However, the sheer length of the 8-month travel window means this promotion isn’t completely without merit. For those who plan far in advance, there is still value on the table.

With the travel window extending to May 2027, you can lock in flights for Good Friday or Labour Day next year, avoiding the inevitably inflated cash fares.
- Spring Travel to Europe/US: At 37,400 miles, securing a flight to Europe or the US during the April/May 2027 shoulder season is a very reasonable outlay for a solid travel period.
Premium Economy Class
Premium Economy discounts remain confined strictly to selected USA routes, yielding a 15% discount.
These are viable options if you want increased comfort on ultra-long-haul flights but cannot justify the steep mileage jump to Business Class. The main hurdle will be aligning your specific travel dates with both the eligible flight numbers and the extensive blackout periods.
First-Ever Scoot Inclusions
This marks the first time Scoot has been integrated into a Global Redemption Sale, offering a flat 10% off selected awards.
While a 10% discount is modest, it does provide options for leisure destinations outside the mainline Singapore Airlines network, or for flyers wanting to stretch a smaller KrisFlyer balance as far as possible.
The discount is applied to Scoot’s fixed Economy award chart, where the lowest Saver awards start at 1,500 miles before the promotion. That means selected short-haul awards can fall to 1,350 miles one-way. More importantly, the discount can make longer Scoot routes more interesting than the very cheapest regional hops, especially when cash fares are high.

At 1,350 miles, the short Malaysian routes are undeniably cheap, but taxes, fees and Scoot’s add-on costs can quickly reduce the value. The same caution applies to Jakarta and Bangkok, where cash fares are often competitive.

While saving miles for premium cabins remains the optimal strategy, this promotion is highly relevant for families booking Economy, travelers securing 2027 long-weekend getaways, or those eyeing Spring trips to Europe and the USA. Just ensure your travel plans are completely firm, as these promo tickets offer absolutely zero flexibility.
