From 7 August 2023 to 31 September 2023, you can earn up to 45,000 miles by signing up for a Standard Chartered Journey Credit Card. In my opinion, this offer is substantially better than the previously available offer.

Sign Up Offer of up to 45,000 Miles
|Sign Up Offer Breakdown
|10,000 miles after paying the annual fee of S$194.40
|35,000 miles after spending a minimum of S$3,000 within the first 60 days of card approval
For the current sign-up offer, you’ll first earn 35,000 miles (87,500 360° Reward Points) after spending a minimum of S$3,000 within the first 60 days of card approval. This is a pretty respectable sign-up offer right now.
On top of the 35,000 miles bonus, you’ll earn whatever miles you would have gotten for spending the money. To recap, that’s 1.2 mpd for local spending, 2 mpd for overseas spending and 3 mpd for selected bonus categories.
In addition, if you choose to pay the annual fee of S$194.40, you’ll get an additional 10,000 miles (25,000 360° Reward Points). You’re effectively buying miles for 1.94 cents per mile here. There are 2 distinct sign-up links for the card, depending on whether you want the offer with the annual fee or not. Make sure to select the right link when applying.

Benefits of the Standard Chartered Journey Card
The Standard Chartered Journey Card was recently relaunched back in May 2023. Prior to its relaunch, it was previously known as the Standard Chartered X Card. After going through the journey of multiple benefit refreshes, Standard Chartered decided to completely rebrand the card and give it a new name.
|Features of Standard Chartered Journey Credit Card
|3 mpd on bonus category spend, up to S$1,000 per month
|1.2 mpd on local spend
|2 mpd on overseas spend
|2 free airport lounge visits per year
In its current form, it is a pretty good travel credit card to have. The 2 complimentary airport lounge visits can add to the allowances that other credit cards such as the DBS Altitude Card or Citi Premiermiles Card give.
The 3 mpd bonus also makes it stand out from other similar general spending credit cards.
With the current sign-up offer, it makes it a good time to apply for the Standard Chartered Journey Card now!
