Earlier this week, Priority Pass announced that there’ll be 4 restaurants in Singapore’s Changi Airport joining the lounge network. With this, there are now 10 lounges and 4 restaurants in the city’s airport that are part of the Priority Pass program.
Priority Pass first announce the introduction of restaurants into the lounge network in 2018. In the 5 years since, more restaurants have joined the network, giving travellers more options before their flights.
Singapore’s Changi Airport has never had an official Priority Pass Restaurant. Before the pandemic, there was a TGM Restaurant in Terminal 2 that provided Japanese set meals to priority pass members. Even though it was a restaurant, it was never classified as one by Priority Pass. It has since left the lounge network when the pandemic hit in 2020.
Basic Rules
Cardholders can use their Priority Pass lounge visit entitlements at any new restaurants added to the network. Each lounge visit entitlement gives you 1 set menu per 24-hour period. If you have a card that grants you complimentary guest entitlements, your guest will get 1 set menu too.
This means that if you want, you can terminal hop between the 3 terminals to get up to 4 different set meals before your flight out of the city.
Food and beverages from the a la carte menu are not included as part of this lounge visit entitlement.

New “Eat Offers”
There is also another new category of offers introduced with this announcement. However, these are generally not as useful as introducing new restaurants into the lounge network as they’ll often require purchasing something in return for something else.
Nevertheless, it’s always better to get more perks as a Priority Pass member.

Conclusion
It’s good progress that Priority Pass lounge members are getting more options in Singapore. This can help in easing up the lounge congestion we’ve been seeing lately since travel has picked up again as some people will prefer to visit the restaurants instead of actual lounges.
This is an overall positive development and we’ll hopefully see more lounges or restaurants join the network in the future.
